Once again we are gearing up to watch filmmakers RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK!!! Are you up for the challenge?
Join us May long weekend (May 21-23, 2021) and show off your filmmaking chops. Participate from any location as this year the 48-hour challenge is online. Packages will be sent to each team at the start on the challenge via email. We can’t wait to see what you and those in you socially distanced bubble create. (please follow ALL safety protocols while participating, we want this event to stay safe)
Teams are given a genre, prop and line of dialogue to use and will then have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit their film. All films that are completed before the deadline and meet the guidelines of the challenge will be screened during the 2021 Okotoks Film Festival, and awards will be presented to films for Best Film, Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Line, Best Use of Genre and Audience Choice. Teams of all skill levels and ages are welcome to compete.
Can you do it?
