DECORATE THE TALL TREES!
Christmastime in George Lane Park is like no other time of the year. Seeing the lights underneath the stars and trees turns all of us into kids again, filled with the wonder and magic of the holiday season.
Experience Christmas lights in a whole new way by coming out to help set up the displays. Everyone is welcome to join in and there is something for everyone to do. Visitors take note of the extra sparkle in the Park created by the community coming together to create this very special spot in town.
We'll be setting up the Park over 3 days. Come out for 1, 2 or all 3 times as your schedule allows.
Date & Start Time
🎄 Oct 30 - 9am: Decorate the tall trees at entrance
🎄 Nov 08 - 9am: Prep for display setup
🎄 Nov 09 - 9am: Set up displays and skating rink
• We encourage you to register at https://volunteersignup.org/PX89W so we know numbers and can email you with any updates
• Come to the park anyway if you weren’t able to register
• Meet at the south parking area each morning
• Dress for the weather
• We aim to be done by 12-1pm or earlier each day
• Come out for a an hour or two if you're not able to stay the whole time
