Rodeo is a lifestyle. A tradition handed down through generations. It began as friendly competition between neighbours to see who had the best skills and the best livestock. The profession and sport of Rodeo has evolved to the competitive world it is today at the Okotoks Pro Rodeo. With pride, talented athletes showcase their abilities, to entertain and excite but also connect us to our roots, our western heritage.
This is the 28th year of The Okotoks Pro Rodeo! This non-profit Rodeo is created entirely by volunteers; hosting contestants visiting from all parts of Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
